Happy Friday friends~
I want to introduce you to my visual journal, inspired by
.A mantra I stood with (and still stand by) when I jumped back into photography was, “finding beauty in the everyday and ordinary.”
Corny and cliche. I know.
But living in the Midwest, let alone the suburbs, sometimes it’s hard to find breathtaking scenery. So a mantra like the one above really has helped me to enjoy the usual, mundane, and ordinary things in life.
“Dust Particles” is a visual journal of photos I’ve taken over recent days and weeks. I won’t be sending these out each week (yay for less digital clutter), but when I feel that I’ve curated some great shots. It’s also helpful for me to stay off the Gram and keep most, if not all of my work on Substack. I genuinely want to grow on this platform because it seems much healthier than other ones out there.
Anyways, I hope the shots I share here bring you joy/calm/peace/tov as you wind down the week.
Cheers!

The mundane and ordinary is what makes up the biggest parts of our lives (at least mine). So why not photographing what’s familiar. I love that! And the Midwest (I lived in Chicago for a while). Looking forward to more on here...
Dust Particles is such a cute concept!🥲
