Shooting in b&w film is such a skillset that I have yet to attain. It’s quite a riddle to me since it literally renders colors down to just two “colors”: black and white, and yet it is increasingly more difficult to shoot well compared to color.
I’ve been reading and listening to more voices on succession plans within the Church (and other organizations). As the Boomer generation slowly begins to pass away and as Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha are rising the ranks of organizational leadership, this shift in reality got me thinking about my time in San Diego with some next-gen leaders within the Asian-American and Latin-American church.
We are two ethnic groups, where our motherlands are separated by much distance, but in culture and essence, there is much overlap. It was a beautiful time that I got to experience - hearing from other leaders about their victories and defeats within the ever revolving door of ministry. I left feeling refreshed and encouraged to press on with the good work ahead.
Cheers, friends.
