Gaze
Breathe In
May I walk in step
Breathe Out
With Your will and not man’s
Seek
Father in Heaven,
The world will hurl commands.
For me to go this way.
To go that way.
To do this and to do that.
To prove I am someone,
They want me to be.
But may I be like You.
Sure of my identity.
Sure of who I am, in You.
Sure of not needing,
To prove to be someone that I am not.
Thank you for staying on the cross,
To show you are the Son of God.
