Search my intentions, O Lord!

Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 139:23-24

Echo Your heart, O Lord

God who knows all things,

Search me, in the depths of my heart.
Search me, and correct my ways.
Search me, and guide my paths.
Because sometimes, I can convince myself
that my motives are pure, when they are
self-serving, me-centered, and a facade of goodness.
Place my heart in front of the mirror of Your Spirit and Word.
May they read me, as much as I try to read them.
